Unlinking a Password From Control™

Passwords in Password Boss are linked to the Control™ device ID. If you uninstall and then reinstall the Control™ client from a device this will generate a new device ID in Control™, and you will need to re-link the device to the password in Password Boss.

  1. Open the saved password in Password Boss
  2. When a saved password is linked to a Control™ session you will see a Remove Connection field.
  3. Click the X in the remote connection field to remove the link to Control™.
  4. Save the password.
